Ramy Mohamed - Profile Photo

I build and teach AI and cloud-native systems. My work is backed by a PhD in Computer Engineering, published research, and years as a Professor teaching real-time and cloud-native systems.

Research

At Carleton University, my Ph.D. tackled orchestration and resource provisioning in 5G/6G networks, using optimization and deep reinforcement learning for VNF placement and SFC planning. Earlier work spanned biomedical signals, photonics, and intelligent transport, including real-time rPPG heart-rate monitoring for driverless car safety and low-cost health systems.
